"This place is charming and absolutely gorgeous. The bathroom & tub were amazing! Immaculate. The staff is the real stand out-- incredibly warm, courteous and helpful. It was some of the best customer service we encountered during our entire time in Italy. Can't say enough good things. You'll be charmed by the view and the garden and the breakfast offerings. The restaurant they recommended around the corner is absolutely excellent. the people there were also warm and friendly. the town isn't very commercial but feels like a REAL place where people live and have a sense of community which wasn't true for all the towns we visited in Tuscany. We loved it."

"What an amazing stay, from the very beginning we knew this place was special. Paul helped us upgrade our room to one with a breathtaking view and made our stay so extraordinary! We were made to feel like family from the moment we arrived, all of the staff was so friendly and helpful and the restaurant, Ceci, is like no-other! "This place was a gem!!! We got off at the wrong train stop and had to get a taxi. The taxi driver called the hotel a couple as he was unfamiliar with the area and Lucretzia was more than helpful! She met us down the hill where the taxi driver dropped us and helped with our bags! She was amazing. The courtyard was a million dollar view and we enjoyed our breakfasts and evening wine there. Lucretzia also helped making reservations at a delightful restaurant that evening. The room was charming and very clean. We had a very relaxing stress free experience here and would definitely come back!"

"I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately it feels less like a hotel and more like a time capsule… and not in a charming, vintage way. Let’s start with the room: the walls look like they’ve gone a few rounds with a moving company—scuffed, marked, and clearly overdue for a fresh coat of paint. The TV is so small I’ve seen larger screens on desktop monitors, which made relaxing in the evening a bit of a squinting exercise. Now, the real entertainment: the symphony of noise. Every time the air conditioning or fans shut off, they make sounds dramatic enough to suggest the building itself is reconsidering its life choices. Not exactly the peaceful getaway one hopes for. Outside doesn’t fare much better. The garden area seems to have entered a “survival of the fittest” competition, with weeds winning by a landslide. It gives the impression that maintenance might be more of a concept than an actual practice here. And while location can sometimes make up for shortcomings… that’s not the case here. It’s just another challenge added to the list. All humor aside, this place has potential—but it’s currently being overshadowed by a noticeable lack of care. A little investment in upkeep, aesthetics, and basic maintenance would go a long way. Because right now, it feels like a runaway train heading straight toward declining reviews and even faster-declining occupancy. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend staying here"

"Clean, modern and well-maintained hotel, with a fantastic view over the teatro Romano and a panorama of the hills from our lovely room. Staff are excellent, helpful and polite always. It has a great restaurant for all meals, breakfast cold buffet selection is very high quality. Pastries are exceptional, bread options could be better."
